John Black

John Black is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in trading and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Director at Marex Capital Markets since December 2023, John previously held the position of Director - Outsource Trading at Cowen and Company from 2017. John's earlier roles include Equity Portfolio Manager/Trader at Aesir Capital, Head of Trading/Execution at Quad Capital, and Head Trader for the Harbor Watch division at Diamondback Capital. Additionally, John was a Senior Trader at SAC Capital from 1997 to 2005. John Black earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Southern Connecticut State University between 1991 and 1995.
