Matt Popkin

Matt Popkin is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in sales and trading. Currently serving as Managing Director at Cowen and Company since March 2013, Matt has also held the position of Director focusing on Equity Sales and Trading. Prior to Cowen, Matt worked as Vice President of Equity Sales and Trading at Dahlman Rose & Co., contributing to the firm until its acquisition by Cowen Group, Inc. Matt's career began at Piper Jaffray as a specialist in Institutional Fixed Income Sales and Trading from September 2006 to October 2008. Matt Popkin holds a degree from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, where studies were completed from 2000 to 2004.
