Brian has worked in various roles, including Tunnel Operations Lead at COWI, Tunnel Ventilation Engineer at Capita Property and Infrastructure, Principal Engineer - M&E at KEO International Consultants, Tunnel Ventilation Design Engineer at Capita Symonds, and Tunnel Ventilation Design Engineer at Applied Industrial Systems Ltd. In these roles, they have been responsible for coordinating with engineering disciplines, developing design strategies, updating design and maintenance standards, and ensuring on-time delivery and quality of design work. Brian has also conducted audits, defined ventilation settings, and incorporated emergency response criteria for efficient tunnel operation. Brian has extensive experience in both day-to-day and emergency tunnel ventilation systems, including Jetfans, Saccardo Nozzles, and supply/exhaust shafts.
Brian Kenrick obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from London South Bank University, which they attended from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed a National Certificate in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician at Cork Regional Technical College in Ireland, where they were enrolled from 1984 to 1986.
