Principal Engineer at COWI

Marco Talotti has extensive experience in the field of engineering, specifically in offshore and coastal projects. Marco started their career as a Junior Civil Engineer at PRDW in 2014, where they developed solutions for capital projects and gained expertise in computational-based FEM software. Marco then progressed to the role of Structural Engineer, where they solved complex technical problems and managed integrated teams. As a Senior Engineer, they led offshore and coastal projects from concept to construction, ensuring adherence to client and regulatory requirements. In their most recent position at PRDW, Marco served as a Principal Engineer, responsible for managing multi-disciplinary workstreams, providing technical leadership, and nurturing client relationships. In 2023, they joined COWI as a Principal Engineer.

Marco Talotti holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town, which was completed in 2011. Marco then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Civil Engineering (Structural) from the same university, which was completed in 2013. Later, they attended the University of Aberdeen, where they obtained a Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Oil and Gas Structural Engineering in 2018.
