Michael Bang Petersen

Michael Bang Petersen has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. From 1986 to 1995, they worked as a Technical Designer at Carl Bro AS. Then, from 1995 to 2007, they worked at COWI in various roles, including IT Professional, IT Support Specialist, and Techical Designer and IT-coordinator. From 2007 to 2010, they were the IT Manager for COWI Gulf region and COWI Larsen JV. Since 2010, Michael has held multiple positions at COWI, including Head of Operations, Group IT, Vice President of Group IT Infrastructure & Operations, Technical Director, Business Partner, and Head of Section IT Business solutions. In these roles, they managed global teams, provided shared IT infrastructure to employees worldwide, and worked closely with IT and business stakeholders to identify and scope IT opportunities.

Michael Bang Petersen has a diverse education history in the field of leadership and management. In 2016, they attended IMD, where they studied Leadership in the Cloud. In 2013, they pursued a Mini-MBA Certificate in Management from Probana Business School. During the same year, they received leadership training solutions from FranklinCovey Nordic.
