Søren Andersen

Søren Andersen has extensive experience in IT management and project coordination, currently serving as Business Relationship Manager and Head of Section at COWI Group IT since July 2007. In this role, Søren has focused on establishing services that facilitate distributed work and cross-border collaboration within the organization. Prior to this, Søren held positions as IT Manager and Chief Specialist at COWI Mapping, overseeing the architecture of IT systems for processing vast amounts of aerial data. Before joining COWI, Søren worked at Danmarks Meteorologiske Institut from 1998 to 2007, where responsibilities included co-chairing international working groups, managing EU-funded projects, and developing algorithms for operational sea ice products. Educational achievements include advanced training in strategic business partnering, negotiation, business relationship management, project management, IT service management, and a Master of Science in Geophysics from the University of Copenhagen.
