Søren Møller Andersen

Søren Møller Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Søren started their career as an Assistant Site Manager and Engineer intern at KPC BYG A/S in 2007. Søren then joined the Danish Army, where they served as a Conscript Sergeant and fulfilled various roles, including Cannon Commander and group leader for an Army Basic Training team. In 2008, they transitioned to their current position at COWI, where they have held multiple roles. Søren began as a Project Coordinator, gaining experience in design, site inspections, and management of various civil engineering projects. Later, they became the Head of Section of the Bridge and Geotechnical Section in the Transport Infrastructure department. In this role, they were responsible for people management, financial profitability targets, and acted as Chief Project Manager for civil engineering projects. More recently, they held the position of Vice President of Buildings South (DK), where they oversaw the financial performance, production processes, and professional capabilities of the Buildings department in the southern region of Denmark. In 2019, Søren was also appointed as a Regional Director. Overall, Søren Møller Andersen has demonstrated expertise in project management, leadership, and strategic planning throughout their career.

Søren Møller Andersen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark in the years 2005 to 2008. In the years 2014 to 2016, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (HD 1st Part) from the same institution. Lastly, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD 2nd Part) in Organisation and Management from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, in 2023, they obtained a certification in Leading Leaders from the Leadership Pipeline Institute. Before attending university, Søren Møller Andersen completed their studies in Mathematics at Svendborg Gymnasium from 2000 to 2003.
