Vivian Wei Zhao

Vivian Wei Zhao is an experienced structural engineer specializing in renewable energy and offshore wind. Currently serving as an Associate and Offshore Wind Foundation Structural Lead at COWI since June 2022, Vivian has a rich background in structural integrity management from a ten-year tenure at DNV, where the role as Group Leader involved leadership and project management in offshore oil and gas, as well as wind farm structures. Prior experience includes serving as Asset Leader and Project Manager at Atkins, focusing on the design and analysis of various offshore structures. Vivian holds a PhD in Civil and Structural Engineering and an MPhil in Mechanical Engineering, both from The University of Sheffield.
