Scott Hilsen

Scott Hilsen, JD, MBA, CFE, CIPP, currently serves as the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel at Cox Automotive Inc., where responsibilities include the design and execution of compliance and privacy programs for the $8 billion global division of Cox Enterprises. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Director at KPMG, leading over 75 fraud and corruption investigations, and conducting comprehensive anti-bribery risk assessments across Europe and Asia. As a Partner at Alston & Bird LLP, Scott led significant public investigations, including one into the Republican Party of Florida resulting in substantial financial accountability. Scott's foundational legal experience includes associate roles at various law firms following the attainment of a JD from Georgia State University College of Law, an MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, and a BA in Criminology and Law from the University of Florida.
