Nithya Tanguturi

Nithya Tanguturi has extensive work experience in the field of IT risk, security, and governance. Nithya is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Envista Holdings Corporation as the IT Risk, Security & Governance specialist from September 2019 to November 2022. Before that, they held the role of Senior Manager - IT Risk & Security at Visa from August 2018 to September 2019. Nithya also has experience working at eBay as the Manager, IT Risk and Security from September 2016 to February 2018, and at BrightLine CPAs & Associates, Inc. as a Senior Information Technology Consultant from June 2015 to July 2016. Nithya started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Senior Associate in Advisory - IT Security, Privacy & Risk from August 2011 to May 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Marketing at the Management Information Systems Student Association from June 2010 to June 2011 and as a Corporate Training Student Assistant at Cal Poly Pomona from October 2009 to November 2010.

Nithya Tanguturi earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2009 to 2011. Before attending the university, they studied Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems at Fullerton College from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Cisco Networking Academy CCNA Certification in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Cerritos College in 2006 to 2007.

Furthermore, they have acquired several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Nithya obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022. In July 2020, they achieved the Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from ISACA. Nithya also obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in September 2018.
