Christine Primmer

Christine Primmer serves as the AVP and Head of Strategic Business Development at Cox Communications, leading a team focused on activating strategic partnerships, investments, and acquisitions in areas such as IoT, Edge, Healthcare, and Digital Marketing. Prior to this role, Christine held multiple positions at Cox, including Senior Director and Director of IoT Growth & Business Development, where management encompassed organic and inorganic partner strategy for eight IoT industry verticals. At Georgia Power Company, Christine led the Smart Cities initiative, focusing on business incubation and public-private partnerships. Christine's career also includes tenure at SJF Ventures as Principal, where responsibilities involved fund development and portfolio management, and five years at Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting, where advisory work spanned various industries. Christine began their career in a rotational program at General Electric after earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
