Joel Derrico

Joel Derrico is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in bioengineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Cox Communications since 2009, Joel has also co-founded Reverb Networks and Racemi, holding the position of VP Engineering at both companies. Previous roles include Managing Director at Teledyne Paradise Datacom LLC and VP of Products and Programs at Comtech EF Data. Joel's career began at Scientific Atlanta as a Senior Program and Product Manager and Senior Staff Electrical Engineer. With an extensive educational background, Joel earned a PhD and MSE in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as multiple engineering degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
