Drew Pinkney

Drew Pinkney is an experienced radio engineer currently serving as Sr Radio Engineer at Cox Media Group since February 2023. Previously, Drew held the position of Chief Engineer for WBAL-AM and 98ROCK (WIYY-FM) at HEARST STATIONS INC. from October 2015 to October 2022, where leadership was provided for the studio rebuild using Wheatstone AOIP blade router systems. Prior to this, Drew worked as Chief Engineer at Cumulus Broadcasting, overseeing maintenance and support for multiple stations and studio facilities. Furthermore, Drew was Senior Manager/Projects at Digital Radio Engineering from March 2005 to November 2012, leading several studio build projects and technical support initiatives. The career began as a Broadcast Engineer at Entercom Rochester from August 2002 to March 2005. Educational credentials include a BS in Mass Communication - Broadcasting from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and attendance at Grove City College.
