Phylicia Ashley

Phylicia Ashley is a seasoned news reporter currently working at Cox Media Group since March 2022, where investigative reporting on water contamination issues in Eatonville contributed to improvements in local water standards. Previously, Phylicia held roles at WAVE 3 News as a reporter and fill-in anchor, notable for coverage of the Breonna Taylor case and other impactful stories, including fraudulent COVID-19 testing. Earlier experience includes positions at WJFW Newswatch 12 as a news anchor, internships with NBC News and CNBC, and a fellowship with CNBC/NYU. Phylicia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Sociology from New York University and has also studied at the University of the Arts London and in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
