Geng Hua

Geng Hua, Ph.D., is an Associate Attorney at Cozen O'Connor, specializing in patent prosecution and Hatch-Waxman litigation within the intellectual property practice group since September 2022. Prior experiences include serving as a Law Clerk in the same IP practice group, and as a Summer Associate at Cozen O'Connor. Geng also held several externships, including IP Legal Extern roles at Cleveland Clinic Innovations and Parker Hannifin, and has diverse editorial experience, including Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor positions for the Journal of Law, Technology & the Internet at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Geng holds a Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University, a Ph.D. in Fibre and Polymer Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Polymer Chemistry from The University of Akron, along with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology. Research expertise encompasses small molecule and polymer synthesis, medical implants, and sustainability practices.
