Carlos Martínez M.

Carlos Martínez M. has over 19 years of work experience in the IT field. Carlos started their career as an IT Consultant at Avantech in 2002 and worked there for 8 years. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an IT Project Manager at 7-Eleven Mexico. In 2012, Carlos joined Nutreco as an IM-IT Project Manager for a short period of time. Carlos then moved to British American Tobacco in 2013 and held various roles including Project Delivery Manager, IT Marketing Manager, Regional IT Marketing Manager, and Business Unit IT Manager. In 2018, Carlos founded their own company, EKI, and became the Founder. Currently, they are working as the Head of IT at Corporate Properties of the Americas.

Carlos Martínez M. earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Business Strategy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2016 to 2020. Carlos also obtained a second MBA in Global Business and Strategy from EGADE Business School during the same period. Prior to their MBA studies, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 1996 to 2001. Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications in Real Estate Finance: Fundamentals from MIT Professional Education (anticipated in 2023), Agile Project Management from APMG International (obtained in 2015), and Siebel Core Consultant from Oracle (obtained in 2008).
