Galina Tarasova

Galina Tarasova, CPA, CMA, currently serves as a Practical Experience Officer at the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia since 2018, advising CPA candidates on practical experience requirements and providing program guidance. Previously, Galina accumulated extensive accounting experience as a Senior Accountant at Lotus Capital Corp from 2013 to 2018, managing full cycle accounting for various entities and properties, and supporting investment management. Prior roles include Property Accountant at Bentall Kennedy and Director of the Testing Department at TB.Soft, along with experience as a DBMS Developer at the Institute of Biophysics. Galina holds a Certified Management Accountants Designation from CMA BC and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from CDI College, complemented by a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Science & Technology.
