Senior System Design Engineer at CPAC Systems AB

Michael Årnevall's work experience begins in 2000 when they worked as a Service Engineer at LedTek Enköping. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile radio relay links. Michael held this position until 2003.

From 2004 to 2006, Årnevall worked as a Service Engineer at Sunderby Hospital, Norrbottens Läns Landsting. Michael was responsible for the maintenance and repair of various technical products, including robots for automatic blood analysis.

In 2007, Årnevall joined Volvo Construction Equipment as a Development Engineer, working on embedded systems. Michael played a key role in developing software functionalities for accurate weighing of payload on articulated haulers. Additionally, they worked on expanding the electrically controlled hydraulics for wheel loaders to improve operating performance.

In 2011, Årnevall joined EIS by Semcon as a Function Development Engineer in embedded systems. Michael was commissioned at Scania and focused on developing functions for handling mechatronic components. Specifically, they worked on control and diagnostics of valves for gas exchange within a diesel engine. Michael held this role until 2012.

Since 2012, Årnevall has been working at CPAC Systems AB as a Senior System Design Engineer. Michael is currently leading a project focused on the development of a commercial solution for fully autonomous trucks in a mining environment. Michael'sresponsibilities include finding solutions for managing transport operations with automated vehicles, as well as ensuring system architecture and software design fulfill the demands of vehicle control. Michael has also worked as a lead engineer on a project to build new hybrid wheel loaders and excavators.

Michael Årnevall has a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Luleå Technical University. Michael also attended an Upper Secondary School, where they studied Nature Science.
