Ella Spencer

Ella Spencer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors. Ella currently holds the position of Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning at CDP since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Programmes and Impact at the International Growth Centre, starting in February 2021 and concluding in January 2023. Ella also held various roles at the International Growth Centre, including Director of Impact and Learning from November 2018 to February 2021, and Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning & Policy Economist for Zambia from December 2014 to November 2018.

Their responsibilities at Fitch Ratings included conducting analysis, providing reports and press releases, and presenting to senior colleagues and external organizations. Ella was also actively involved in the company's charity committee.

Ella's early career started as an Actuarial Analyst at Sun Life Financial of Canada (UK) from September 2008 to September 2010. In this role, they gained experience in statutory reporting and modelling and also played an active role in the company's community initiatives.
