Dave Rechs

Dave Rechs is an experienced professional currently serving as the State Practice Leader at CPS HR Consulting since August 2018. Prior to this role, Rechs held various positions within state government, including Deputy Secretary and Assistant Secretary for the California Government Operations Agency from December 2013 to August 2018, and Staff Services Manager III for the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. from August 2012 to December 2013, specializing in governmental reorganization. Rechs was also a core member of the CalHR Implementation Team for the Governor's Reorganization Plan in 2011 and held multiple leadership roles within Caltrans and the California Department of Personnel Administration. Rechs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from California State University-Sacramento and a Teaching Credential from National University.
