Erika Nielsen has a long history of work experience. Erika began their career in 2001 as a Team Member at Whole Foods Market, where they were able to streamline and enforce consistent inventory handling and create and enforce a consistent auditing policy. In 2013, they took on the role of Repair Representative at Charter Communications. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Associate Technical Consultant at Perficient Inc, where they created prototype websites using HTML / CSS / JS / Angular and ASP. NET for consumer testing and validation, and worked with a cross-departmental team to implement and heavily customize a WordPress theme and analytics for an industry communications blog. In the same year, they became a Web Developer and Tier 1 Tech Support at IgLou Internet Services, Inc. In 2016, they took on the role of Front-End Developer at Radancy, where they collaborated with members of creative, UX, and project management teams to implement innovative career websites for Radancy’s global client base using HTML, CSS (Sass) and JavaScript in an ASP. NET environment. Erika is currently a Front-End Developer at CQL.

Erika Nielsen began their educational journey in 1999 when they attended Wake Technical Community College and obtained an Associate's Degree in College Transfer (Science). Erika then attended North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Technology. In 2016, they obtained certifications from Microsoft and Google, including a Microsoft Certified Professional and Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft, as well as a Google Analytics certification from Google. Additionally, Erika attended Code Louisville in an unspecified time period.
