Christie Hale

Christie Hale has a strong background in internal audit and loss prevention. Christie most recently held the position of VP Internal Audit and Loss Prevention at Cracker Barrel from June 2018 to present. Prior to that, they worked as the VP Internal Audit at SONIC Drive-In from October 2017 to June 2018. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the VP Internal Audit at Ruby Tuesday, where they led the global internal audit function and implemented risk-based audit plans. Before that, Christie held various roles at Bloomin' Brands, Inc., including VP Loss Prevention and VP Internal Audit. Christie also has experience at Protiviti, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, Livingston & Haynes, PC, Innovasive Devices, Inc., PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Freed Maxick CPAs, P.C.

Christie Hale graduated from Alfred University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. In 2014, they obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Additionally, Christie has certifications as a CIA (Institute of Internal Auditors) and CPA (Board of Accountancy, Boston, MA), although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications were not provided.
