Jon Scadden

Jon Scadden has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Jon began their career in 1995 as a Sales Executive at Dot Hill Systems before moving on to become a Senior Account Executive at Star Solutions in 1999. In 2001, Jon founded their own company called Storage And Networks, where they served as the Founder and CEO until 2009.

Afterward, Jon joined Dell as an Enterprise Software Sales representative in 2010, where they excelled and became the #1 Ranked Global Software Account Manager in FY 2013. Jon received the HCLS Solution of the Year award during their time with Dell. In 2014, Jon started working at IBM as a Software Account Manager, where they specialized in enterprise data and cloud management, security, and endpoint management.

Jon continued to broaden their experience by joining Pure Storage in 2017 as a Global Account Manager, focusing on enterprise data management and storage for non-traditional workloads such as HPC, Analytics, and AI/ML. Jon successfully built the Navy territory, generating $8M in revenue and a $40M pipeline in under 24 months.

In 2019, Jon became a Storage Infrastructure Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, followed by a role as a Software Account Exec at Centrify Corporation in 2020, where they worked on Enterprise Security and Zero Trust Solutions.

Most recently, Jon worked at Liqid as the Director of Sales - Federal Systems Integrators + Navy, starting in 2021. Jon was responsible for rebuilding DOD, OEM, FSI partner relationships, and ecosystem. Jon achieved significant first-year bookings and had a forecast of $4M in second-year bookings, with an overall pipeline exceeding $15M, focusing on AI-ML-HPC-CFD use cases and high-side high-speed programs and codes.

Currently, Jon is employed as the Regional Sales Director at Cradlepoint (starting in 2023), specializing in private cellular and satellite transport networking, routing, and security for PACE connectivity. Jon focuses on IOT, mobile, C2 Command + Control, Austere-contested domains, and non-LOS or SATCOM availability.

Jon Scadden obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Business Administration from San Diego State University from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma in English Language and Literature/Letters from STHS between 1981 and 1985. Additionally, Jon Scadden has additional certifications in End User Computing from VMware AirWatch and VTSP (VMWare Technical Sales Professional) from VMware, though the specific months and years they were obtained are not provided.
