Michael Lamers

Michael Lamers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.

Michael began their career in 1991 as a Store Manager at Ameritech Cellular, where they managed high performing retail stores in Dayton and Cincinnati. Michael supervised teams of up to 12 sales and installation service employees.

In 1995, Lamers joined Cellular One as a Store Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operations of a retail store, including sales team performance, scheduling, training, cash management, service bay operations, and human resources. Michael also played a key role in the hiring process for the Indianapolis area.

Lamers then joined AT&T in 1998 as a Strategic Account Manager. Michael managed a signature client group account portfolio that generated over $120 million in annual revenue. Their focus was on growing market share in the mobility space by adding lines of service and selling mobility applications. Michael also supervised a team of sales representatives and consistently exceeded sales targets.

At AT&T, Lamers also held the positions of Mobility Applications Consultant and Mobility Integration Manager. As a Mobility Applications Consultant, they educated customers and sales teams on advanced mobility products and solution provider capabilities. Michael also promoted AT&T IoT management platforms and mobile application development solutions. In their role as a Mobility Integration Manager, Lamers created integrated mobility solutions, including professional mobility consulting, mobile application development, mobile device lifecycle support, IoT, and managed services.

From 2017 to 2019, Lamers worked at Ameresco as an Account Executive. In this role, they provided services to develop, deliver, and finance energy-related initiatives. Michael conducted detailed analyses of customer energy strategies and provided professional recommendations on how organizations could become more efficient and sustainable. Lamers was also involved in executing projects with a combination of in-house and partner resources.

Most recently, Lamers joined Cradlepoint in 2019 as a Carrier Development Manager for AT&T.

Michael Lamers has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Wright State University. Michael also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. In terms of additional certifications, Michael has obtained the following: Cradlepoint Certified Sales Professional - NetCloud Exchange from Cradlepoint in March 2023, Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate from Cradlepoint in August 2020, Cradlepoint Certified Sales Professional – 5G from Cradlepoint in August 2020, and the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) entry level exam certification from NABCEP in September 2009.
