Tom Stasko has a diverse work history, with experience in sales engineering, account management, and technical support roles. Tom started their career as a Systems/Network Administrator/Sales Engineer at Access Data Consulting Corporation in 1997, where they managed and provided technical support for a multiple-site Frame Relay WAN. In 1999, they moved on to Tenera, Inc. as a Systems Administrator, responsible for administering and maintaining a 250-user network connection across 5 cities.

Tom then joined (i) Structure in 2000 as an Implementation Engineer, where they provided engineering support for various systems environments, integrated new LAN/WAN and security standards, and managed ongoing systems support and project management. In 2002, they became a Senior Staff Engineer at Hunter Douglas, where they focused on security and network design and support for a large WAN, and created standards for using Cisco equipment on the corporate backbone.

From 2005 to 2006, Tom worked as a Senior Network Engineer (Consultant) at Swift and Company, where they consulted on various engagements with clients and was responsible for new business opportunity creation. Following this, they joined Expand Networks as a Sales Engineer from 2006 to 2009, where they were responsible for quota and territory development within the western half of the United States. Tom provided pre and post-sales engineering support for a complex WAN optimization product and presented technical subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences.

In 2009, Tom worked as a Business Development Specialist at PC Connection, focusing on Hewlett Packard new business development in multiple states. Tom educated customers on cloud strategy and virtualization solutions, serving as a subject matter expert on HP ESSN product lines. After this, from 2011 to 2015, Tom worked as a Sales Engineer/Regional Sales Manager at Exinda Networks, serving as the primary technical resource for the field sales force, driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, and training and developing the channel sales team.

Tom joined Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in 2015, starting as a Security Engineer, SLED, where they provided pre-sales technical support to Check Point Channel/Account Managers and strategic customers, conducted technical meetings with customers and partners, and performed design work and technical pilots. From 2017 to 2021, they served as an Account Executive at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., developing sales plans around Check Point's Threat Prevention technologies and managing the advanced threat sales pipeline.

Currently, Tom is employed at Cradlepoint since 2021. Tom started as a Sales Engineer and quickly advanced to the role of Senior Sales Engineer in 2023.

Tom Stasko attended Edison College from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained their AA degree in General studies.
