Tyler Peterson

Tyler Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tyler started their career in 1995 as a Mountain Shop Consultant at Sport Chalet, Inc. and later worked as a Lead Backpacking/Assistant Climbing/Navigation Instructor at Wilderness Outings. In 1996, they became an Assistant Manager at Adventure 16, where they utilized their outdoor expertise and retail management skills.

Moving ahead, Tyler worked as a Technical Representative at Wolverine World Wide's Merrell division and as an Account Manager at Snap-on Industrial, managing sales and client relationships. In 2006, they joined Cradlepoint as an Inside Sales Representative for Southern California, where they promoted and sold 3G/4G network router solutions. Tyler then transitioned to an Inside Sales Representative for the Bay Area California territory.

Tyler's career at Cradlepoint progressed, and they took on roles like Overlay Solutions Engineer - Inside Sales and Inside Sales Transportation Account Manager. Tyler also served as a Solutions Engineer and SME for Cradlepoint's disruptive technology, NetCloud Perimeter (SD-WAN / SD-P Solutions). Later, they became a Technical Marketing Engineer, contributing to product management and customer adoption of Cradlepoint solutions.

In 2020, Tyler joined Boise State University as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, where they facilitated mountain biking sessions and focused on student safety and improvement.

Throughout their career, Tyler has demonstrated strong technical and sales skills, an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a passion for outdoor activities.

Tyler Peterson obtained a High School Graduation Diploma from Centennial High School from 1989 to 1992. Tyler later attended Boise State University from 2008 to 2016 and graduated with a degree in Communication, specializing in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. In addition to their formal education, Tyler obtained various certifications, including Ride Leader and Level 1 Fundamental Skills Instructor from the Bike Instructor Certification Program in May 2023, Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional from Cradlepoint in April 2019, and Adult and Infant First Aid and CPR/AED from Red Cross. Tyler also holds certifications from the American Traffic Safety Services Association, Freedman Group, National Safety Council, Phil Oren, and Wilderness Medical Professionals, although the specific details of these certifications are unavailable.
