Erick Ortiz

Erick Ortiz has a range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Erick started their career in 2014 at Legends, where they held multiple roles as a Lead Cashier, Food Prep, and Server. In 2015, they joined Crafted Hospitality as a Server and Host, and later took on a Management Internship role in 2016. Additionally, they became a Head Server at Crafted Hospitality in 2016.

Erick Ortiz attended Richmond Hill High School from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a high school diploma with a field of study in general studies. Erick then pursued further education at CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. Erick also obtained several additional certifications throughout their education. In 2013, they received the TIPS certification from TIPS® (Training for Intervention Procedure) and the ServSafe certification from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF). In 2015, they completed the Front Office Manager Program from AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute and obtained the Guest Service Professional Gold certification from AHLE-X Affiliated Hospitality Leadership Experiences.
