Kevin Lin

Kevin Lin is an experienced professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as the Tracking Layout Department/Outsource Supervisor at Crafty Apes VFX since 2020. In this role, Kevin oversees 3D tracking department operations, manages internal artists and outsourced vendors, and conducts quality control on delivered assets. Prior experience includes similar supervisory roles at FuseFX and Rhythm & Hues, where responsibilities encompassed managing outsource vendor relationships and supervising international teams. Kevin’s career began at Industrial Light & Magic, and includes roles at Digital Domain and ZOO Digital Group plc. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from UC Santa Barbara, an AA in Computer Animation from the Art Institute of Los Angeles, and completed the Unreal Virtual Production Fellowship Program at Epic Games. Key accomplishments include establishing a Digital Asset/Element QC department to enhance accuracy within a DVD gaming company.
