Jen Shatwell

Jen Shatwell partners with business leaders to create strategic internal and executive communication plans, put thought leadership into practice, and achieve measurable results.

With more than 20 years of experience, Jen was most recently an independent consultant in the field. Her clients have included Fortune 500 companies in biotechnology, energy, finance and insurance, information technology, manufacturing, and retail. She was previously Managing Director of Global Advisory Services for Melcrum, now part of Gartner, and, over her career, has worked as both practitioner and consultant, in domestic and international markets, and across corporate, government, and non-profit sectors.

A recovering flutist and champion of liberal arts degrees, Jen has a Master in English from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from DePaul University in Chicago. She’s lived in seven U.S. states, traveled to 12 countries, and now calls the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay her home.
