Leah Ciappenelli

Leah Ciappenelli has a broad and extensive background in human resources and management. Leah started their career as an intern at Brockton Area Multi Services and then worked as an intern at the Boston Veteran's Administration. Leah later became the director of The Community Family's Adult Day Health Care program. Leah then transitioned into a clinical manager role at Advocates, Inc., where they managed group homes for individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. Leah then served as the vice president of human resources at Inflexxion, Inc., where they oversaw all aspects of human capital management and led workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts. After that, Leah worked at Radius as the global manager of talent and culture, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and training across multiple offices worldwide. Leah then served as the head of human resources at SHIFT Communications, where they developed and implemented HR policies and programs. Leah then moved to Lead Surge LLC, first as the director of human resources, responsible for aligning HR practices with business operations, and later as the managing director and VP of HR, where they played a key role in fortifying the agency's digital department. Currently, Leah is the Vice President of People and Culture at Cramer, where they apply their expertise to foster a thriving culture within the company. Leah Ciappenelli holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bates College. Leah also obtained a Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Clinical/Medical Social Work from Boston College. Leah further pursued an education in Organizational Development, earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Simmons University. Leah completed their high school education at Weston High School, receiving a High School Diploma. Additionally, Leah has obtained certifications in various fields, including D&I in HR Management and Inclusive HR Leadership from HRCI, as well as an SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute. Leah is also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) as per the State of Massachusetts.
