MacEy Ley

Macey Ley has a diverse work experience in the creative and event management industry. Macey is currently working as the Creative Director of Events & Experiences at Cramer since September 2021. Prior to this, they founded their own company called Ley Creative in 2006, where they served as the Marketing & Creative Strategist and Event Director. In this role, they specialized in crafting creative campaigns and immersive multi-channel events for various clients and industries.

In addition, Macey also worked as an Independent Artist since September 2010. Before that, they joined The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2017 as the Experience & Creative Director of BCG Design Studio. In this role, they led a team of designers, event planners, and project managers to design immersive human-centered experiences for innovation centers, events, brands, and marketing campaigns.

Prior to BCG, Macey worked at Learning Sciences International as the Creative Director and Event Producer from October 2009 to May 2017. Here, they focused on developing high-impact communications plans, marketing strategies, and managing diverse teams for events, publishing, and graduate education. Their responsibilities included venue selection, A/V management, design, wayfinding, and vendor negotiation.

Lastly, Macey worked at Sacunas Integrated Communications from November 2005 to June 2009 as the Art Director and Studio Manager. In this position, they oversaw the operations of the design studio, directed photo and video shoots, developed branding and advertising campaigns, and managed marketing collateral for B2B and B2C clients.

Macey Ley has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from Savannah College of Art and Design, with a focus on Fine/Studio Arts. Macey also studied Fine and Craft Arts at the Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The University of New Mexico.
