Elise Deerwester

Elise Deerwester is a Project Engineer at Crane Pumps & Systems, a position held since May 2023. Previous experience includes serving as an Academic Assistant at the University of Dayton from January 2021 to December 2022, where support was provided for students in Dynamics and Design of Machine Elements classes. As an Engineering Intern at Faurecia during the summer of 2022, improvements were made in part flow through the design of a flow rack and collaboration on cell layout optimization. In 2021, Elise completed a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Crane Pumps & Systems, focusing on product design and quality analysis. Prior engineering internships at The Yost Superior Co. involved tooling design and customer communication. Elise holds a B.S. in Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2023, with a major in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a minor in Industrial Automation & Applied Robotic Systems.
