Elise Deerwester

Elise Deerwester is a Project Engineer at Crane Pumps & Systems since May 2023, previously serving as an Academic Assistant for Dynamics and Design of Machine Elements at the University of Dayton from January 2021 to December 2022. Elise held an Engineering Intern position at Faurecia during the summer of 2022, where notable contributions included designing a flow rack to improve part flow and collaborating on cell layout redesign. As a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Crane Pumps & Systems from January to August 2021, Elise designed and tested components and assisted with quality analyses. Earlier engineering internships at The Yost Superior Co. focused on tooling design and customer communication. Elise earned a B.S. in Engineering Technology, Magna Cum Laude, with a major in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a minor in Industrial Automation & Applied Robotic Systems from the University of Dayton in May 2023.
