Jói Sigurdsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2000, they co-founded Propheus and served as the Chief Technology Officer until 2000. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Maskina, where they built up the engineering department and developed products for telcos. In the same period, they also worked as a Consultant at OZ Communications. From 2003 to 2004, Jói worked as a Software Engineer at GreenBorder, where they created a desktop security product later incorporated into Google Chrome.
