Kathryn Fares

Kathryn Fares is a dedicated literary and arts advocate with a strong background in community engagement and the performing arts. As the founder of a literary magazine at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, Kathryn created a platform for artistic expression among students and teachers, showcasing various forms of art. In addition, Kathryn serves as the Head of the Charity Committee, organizing events and supporting charitable causes within the school community. As a volunteer teaching assistant, Kathryn led a book club for young readers, fostering a love for literature. Kathryn has also showcased poetry at Rooftop Rhythms, participating in monthly performances at open-mics and slam competitions. As a passionate figure skater and volunteer coach at the Emirates Skating Club, Kathryn enjoys mentoring young beginners in the sport while actively participating as an athlete. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Chicago.
