John Andrews

John Andrews is an experienced rugby coach and educator with a comprehensive background in sports leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Rugby at Cranleigh School since August 2022, John has previously held various positions, including Teacher of PE and Head of Rugby at Ballymena Academy from September 2000 to August 2022. Additional roles include Director of Rugby at Rainey Old Boys RFC, Ulster Schools U18 Coach at Ulster Rugby, and Head Coach at Ballymena Rugby Football Club and Dungannon Rugby Club. John began their coaching career with a Player Coach role at Rainey Old Boys RFC and has also served as IRFU Regional Development Officer. Academic qualifications include a BA Hons Degree in Sport and Leisure Studies from the University of Ulster Jordanstown and a PGCSE from Ulster University.
