Chase Young has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, primarily in executive leadership roles. From 2020 to present, they have been the CEO of Cranmore, the technical and management consulting arm of Enstar, where they focus on claims management, Enstar's strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Chase also serves as the Head of Asbestos, Pollution, and Health Claims.
From 2018 to 2019, Young held the position of EVP and Head of Cranmore US, as well as the US Head of Technical Claims for Enstar. In this role, they managed a portfolio of over $6 billion in gross reserves and was responsible for ensuring consistent claims handling strategies aligned with business objectives and legal/regulatory requirements.
Before that, Young held various leadership positions within Cranmore US and Enstar US. As the Head of TPA Management and Senior Vice President, they handled over $1 billion in gross liabilities and oversaw the development of claims QA and management consulting programs. Chase also managed the onboarding and integration of several acquisitions.
Prior to joining Cranmore and Enstar, Young worked as an (Re)insurance consultant, where they conducted pre-acquisition due diligence reviews and led audit and inspection programs for major property reinsurance cedents.
Initially, Young started their career at Cranmore US as a Senior Auditor, Reinsurance Auditor/Inspector/Analyst, and Associate Reinsurance Auditor/Inspector/Analyst.
Chase Young earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of South Florida between 2006 and 2010.
