Martha Boksenbaum has extensive experience in youth services within various public libraries. Currently serving as Youth Services Librarian at Cranston Public Library since October 2018, Martha previously held roles at Chelsea Public Library as Children's Librarian, managing collections and programming from June 2014 to October 2018, and at Randall Library as Youth Services Librarian. Martha's background includes managing children's and young adult collections, planning programs such as storytime and summer reading, and collaborating with community organizations. Additionally, Martha has experience outside of library services, having coordinated patient care and managed clinical trials in the healthcare sector. Martha holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Linguistics and Western European Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
