David Ngo

David Ngo currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Product Development at CrashPlan, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this role, David was the Chief Product Officer at Backblaze from January 2024 to October 2025. David spent over 25 years at Commvault, holding multiple key positions including Chief Technology Officer for Metallic, where responsibilities involved driving the strategic vision for product development and managing relationships with technology partners. David was also integral as a founding member of the Metallic team, overseeing its growth and establishment in the SaaS market. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, obtained in 1998.
