Cliff Click

Cliff Click has a long history of work experience in the technology industry. In 1997, they began as a Senior Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where they made the JVM and C2, the world's most used optimizing compiler. Cliff then moved to Azul Systems in 2002 as the Chief JVM Architect. In 2012, they became the CTO of 0xdata, where they were a co-founder and was responsible for team building, team lead, tech lead, technology directions, process & QA directions, and core infrastructure work of H2O, including all the clustering, high speed Distributed Key Value Store, Distributed Fork Join, data loading, parsing, compressing, and management. In 2016, they were the CTO of Neurensic. In 2017, they founded a stealth mode startup. In 2019, they became the CTO of CRATUS Technology, Inc. Most recently, they were the CEO of Rocket Realtime School from 2018 until the present.

Cliff Click obtained a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1979 and 1983. Cliff then returned to Texas A&M University to earn an MS in Computer Science between 1985 and 1986. Finally, they completed their education at Rice University with a PhD in Computer Science in 1995.
