Dan Carberry

Dan Carberry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public safety and enforcement management. Currently serving as the Public Protection & Enforcement Manager at Crawley Borough Council since January 2022, Dan oversees a broad portfolio including Environmental Health, Port Health at Gatwick Airport, Licensing, and more. Prior to this role, Dan held multiple positions at the Royal Borough of Greenwich from July 2017 to December 2021, culminating in the role of Safer Spaces Manager, where responsibilities included managing teams focused on environmental offences and anti-social behaviour, as well as modernizing the CCTV system. Dan began a career in community service as a Community Participation Officer at METRO Charity, dedicated to addressing LGBTQ+ hate crime in South East England, and earlier served as Center Manager at EDUKATE TRAINING LIMITED.
