Dr. Dani abu Ghaida

Dr. Dani Abu Ghaida is currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer - MEA at Crayon since May 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Founding Partner at Reaction, a global community of entrepreneurs, investors, and executives focused on promoting innovations to solve global issues. Dr. Dani also worked as an Advisor for the Middle East region at Mach49. Dr. Abu Ghaida served as the Chief Information Officer at MTN from October 2019 to May 2021. Before that, they founded and was the General Partner at Sunrays Partners / Ventures, offering consulting, mentoring, and investing services. Dr. Dani worked as the Group CIO / Global Head of IT & Digital at Dar Group from October 2015 to September 2018. In addition, they founded and served as the President of WhyApp Company Limited from August 2014 to July 2017. Dr. Abu Ghaida also held various roles at MTN, including CIO/Head of Group PMO, and worked as a Telecom Advisory Services Executive at Ernst & Young. Dr. Dani began their career as the Group CTIO/VP Technology at AWI Company.
