Etienne Gerard Runge

Etienne Gerard Runge, AIA, NCARB, ISPE, RID, serves as a Senior Project Architect at CRB since January 2020, following the merger with R2A Architecture, which Runge led as President and CEO from March 2003 to January 2020. With over 40 years of experience in architecture and interior design, Runge specializes in community college facilities, bio-pharmaceutical design, and medical facilities. Prior to R2A, notable positions included Principal at tBP Architecture, Inc., where focus areas included educational projects and drug filling facilities, as well as roles at Prochaska & Associates and Hayes Large Architects. Runge holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and dual bachelor's degrees in Architecture and Architectural Studies from North Dakota State University.
