James Mabula

James Mabula has a strong background in risk and compliance, with a particular focus on credit and market risk. James started their career at NBC Limited in 2010 as a Manager in Market Risk. In 2011, they joined CRDB Bank Plc, where they held various roles including Manager in Market and Liquidity Risk, Director of Risk and Compliance, and Director of Credit. In their most recent position at CRDB Bank, they were responsible for managing a loan portfolio of TZS 3.5 trillion.

James Mabula has a diverse education history. In 1997, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Certified Accountancy (ADCA) from Chuo Kikuu Mzumbe. Moving forward, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management from the Institute of Financial Management (IFM) between 2001 and 2003. James then enrolled at the University of Strathclyde, acquiring a Master of Science in Finance from 2004 to 2006. Continuing their education, they earned a Certificate in Governance, Strategy and Marketing, Financial Management & Role of the Board from the Institute of Directors (IoD) in 2015. In 2021, they attended Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi for an Executive MBA, specializing in Business Analytics. Finally, in 2022, James enrolled in the Certified Manager Program at the Chartered Management Institute, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
