James Montfort

James Montfort currently serves as the Manager of Government Relations at CRE Finance Council, a position held since October 2023. Prior experience includes operations and press management for Congressman Jamie Raskin in the U.S. House of Representatives from July 2021 to October 2023. Prior roles also feature work as a Senior Finance Associate at Angerholzer Broz Consulting and an internship in the United States Senate with Senator Tom Carper. Earlier experience includes a business development role at Gartner. James Montfort holds a BS in Business Management from Penn State University, complemented by a Business and Liberal Arts Program through IES Abroad, and a high school diploma from Walt Whitman High School.
