Jon Atzen

Jon Atzen has a significant work experience in the legal field. Jon started their career as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Ocata Therapeutics, Inc. in 2004, where they served until 2008. Jon then worked as the General Counsel/ Venture Partner at Anthem Venture Partners for a brief period in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, Jon was a Partner at DLA Piper, specializing in corporate securities, venture capital, and private equity transactions. Jon then joined Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP as a Partner from 2010 to 2014. At Sheppard Mullin, Jon focused on general corporate representation. In 2014, they became a Partner at Perkins Coie LLP, emphasizing corporate transactional work as an equity partner. During their time at Perkins Coie, they provided outside general counsel services to client companies, handling various matters such as IP, licensing, employment/labor, and tax. Jon then worked at Reviver from 2018 to 2020 as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Currently, they serve as the Chief Legal Officer at Create Music Group.

Jon Atzen received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara in 1987. Jon then pursued a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, which they completed in 1990.
