Sydney Colbert

Sydney Colbert, Esq. serves as Associate Counsel for Business and Legal Affairs at WEBTOON, leading negotiations and managing agreements while advising on compliance and risk management. Previously, Sydney worked as a Rights Attorney for The Walt Disney Company, conducting legal research on intellectual property and copyright ownership. Sydney has also held the role of Rights Paralegal at SAG-AFTRA, addressing residual claims for performers, and served as a law clerk in various legal environments, including the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the United States Attorney's Office. Sydney is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Journalism from Hofstra University. Additionally, Sydney has been actively involved in community outreach as Miss Black California USA 2019, focusing on racial justice initiatives.
