Takehiko Serai

Takehiko Serai, CFA, is an experienced financial strategist with a focus on innovative finance solutions for sustainable development. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Creatella Impact since 2021, Serai supports women-led startups and social entrepreneurs in emerging markets, particularly in Southeast Asia. Previously, Serai held senior positions at Verra as a Senior Manager, spearheading financial innovations for climate action, and at the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction as Director of Investments, where innovative finance strategies were developed to enhance rural development initiatives. Other roles include serving as an Investment Strategist at FAO, providing consultancy for various organizations, and managing significant global equity portfolios at DSM Capital Partners and Nikko Asset Management. Serai's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from Yale University and degrees in public and international affairs and business from the University of Pittsburgh and Wilkes University, respectively.
