Sam Reza

Deputy Director at Creative Action

Sam Reza has a diverse work experience in various roles within the non-profit sector. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Chief Operating Financial Officer at Creative Action, where they were responsible for delivering arts programming to over 20,000 Central Texas youth. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations & Human Resources at the same organization. Before joining Creative Action, they worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in non-profits, providing expertise in areas such as communications, finance, operations, HR, and fundraising. Sam also has experience as a Writer/Visual Artist and has held senior-level positions at WeViva, Global Wildlife Conservation, Nevada Chiropractic Council, and The Neon Museum. Overall, Sam Reza has extensive experience in financial management, operations, and leadership roles within the non-profit sector.

Sam Reza obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Painting/Drawing/Art History from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. In addition, Sam obtained certifications in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University in 2020 and in Beyond Diversity from Leadership Austin in 2018.
