Melika Abikenari

Melika Abikenari is a teaching artist with experience working at various institutions such as Pratt Institute, Creative Art Works, LEAP nyc, and the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock. Previously, Melika worked as a Visitor Experience Representative at the Hammer Museum. Melika also has experience as an intern at the Museum of Craft and Folk Art, Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery, and TAG Gallery. Additionally, Melika has worked as an Art Sales Associate at Pearl Art & Craft Supply. Melika holds a Master of Fine Arts - MFA in Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art/Art Studies from UCLA, and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Fine and Studio Arts from Santa Monica College.
